I bought the pumice to use as a substitute for perlite, after getting sick of it floating to the surface when I top water. The pumice is much nicer to work with because it has a bit of weight to it, which also makes it a useful addition to a potting mix for top heavy plants, to add extra weight at the bottom.

Really good quality pumice,I use it as part of a cacti mix I make and it’s spot on for what I need.

I dislikeusing perlite becauseit all rises to the top. I like using Soil Ninjas Pumice, along with their other components because my plants deserve the best.

Brilliant product to mix with cactus soil&grit.Just stocked up ready for next spring and products were at reduced price.
