Ethically grown, hand picked and collected Welsh sphagnum moss. This high humidity component is perfect for propagation, amending substrates and dramatically increasing the humidity of a plant by using it as a top dressing. Every strand is super fresh and lively and given the right conditions, you can even grow more yourself!
We sell our full Sphagnum range in volume rather than weight, like all of our mixes, meaning you always pay for the amount of moss rather than the amount of water it is retaining.
Reminder: This is wild sphagnum moss, so do expect the occasional pine needle or hitchhikers in there, along with all the beneficial microfauna. Anything you can find naturally in woodlands, may be found within our Sphagnum Moss, as this is a wild and handpicked product.
Really good moss. Much better than the dried out flat pack stuff you can get. My husky also likes this as he ripped the bag apart and spread it all over the dining room.

This is the best moss I’ve tried for my plants. It looks very pretty and the quality is excellent. I only wish it could be sold in smaller bags , maybe 1.5L-2L instead of 5L or 10L bags.

Plants that benefit from sphagnum moss are new to me as I’m a cactus and succulent fan but the philodendron ghost is doing well so far.
I love the soil ninja moss but the last few bags have contained quite a lot of sticks so much so that I ended up having to clean it off myself. It’s just annoying more than anything. The moss itself retains the water a lot more compared to other brands which is a bonus.
this seems to be very good moss and there was lots of it. I wasnt sure how to keep it as I dont need it all but I emailed them for advice which was quickly forthcoming. I would use them again.

This sphagnum looks and even feels different than anywhere else! I wont be buying from anywhere else ever again. This sphagnum comes damp so there is no hassle with having to put the block in water, no mess, u just use what u need and then reseal the bag and put it away until next time!
