About Horticultural Sand:
A gritty sand that provides drainage, this sand is coarse so it doesn’t pack too much and allows roots to breathe. Sand loosens the soil by creating micro passageways that guides water as well as fine roots through the soil structure.

Be sure to read our Ultimate Component Guide to learn more about Horticultural Sand

Please note:
-Sand colour may vary from the images shown.
-Our sand is pre-washed and may arrive slightly moist - this will not affect its quality or performance within your mix.

I like most of soil ninja's products, but this sand is way too fine and will only end up suffocating roots.

All of the healthy constituents I've bought from Soil Ninja are great! I haven't added the sand yet but ... soon. Thank you Ninja Soil ... long continue!

I love soil ninja, but the sand came wet, soggy, dense. It felt like it wasn't adding any aeration or drainage properties to the soil mix I did.

Not quite as coarse as I was expecting and not 100% dry, but nice stuff.
