The Alocasia 'Black Velvet' is an exotic and striking houseplant, admired for its deep, almost black, velvety leaves with prominent silvery-white veins. Its thick, heart-shaped foliage has a luxurious, suede-like texture that adds a bold and dramatic touch to any indoor space. Despite its compact size, this Alocasia variety makes a powerful visual statement and is perfect for tabletops or smaller plant displays.
Will thrive in bright, indirect light, in a humid environment. We recommend either our Alocasia soil mix or our Fine Semi-Hydro mix for optimal growth. Its dark, elegant appearance creates a sophisticated, tropical vibe in any home!
